えー、引っ越しを間近に控えた 4月18日のこと。

7年もの長きに渡って、毎日休むことなく Vine 開発 のメインマシンとしてひたすら働いてくれた PowerBook G4 Titanium 400MHz (Gigabit ではない方の初代)。

ついに お不動さん となってしまいました。

昨晩は、以前から一度は詣でてみたいと思っていたお店に行くべく、 まともに動かない中央線と総武線に難儀しながら、 遠路はるばる押上に向かい、mrmt さん、HANZUBON 氏、Kazekiri さん、kmuto さんと とろける様なひとときを過ごしました。

まだ原因不明だが、 Xen API でたたくと、よくわからんエラーが出てしまい、期待される値が返ってこなくなることがある。

xend を restart しても状況は変わらず。

システムを reboot すると何事もなかったようにエラーはなくなる。 そしてまたある時に、「Internal error: (3, No such process)」が出始めたりする。

どういう時にこの状況に陥るのか、まだ再現性を把握するには至っていない。

現在監訳作業中の某書籍。その翻訳原稿の中から面白い(?)翻訳部分を備忘録がてら (翻訳者の方の努力を揶揄する意味合いはまったくありませんのでそこだけは誤解なきよう) ：
