Me and my Pooh the 3rd at Taga SA

この日を待ってました！　約１年程前に，Peugeot ML の常連メンバの一人，Mi16 オーナーの名取さんが，405 オンリーのミーティングを企画中であるとアナウンスされました． 　私が大津を出発したのは朝の10時頃でした．ミーティング開催地の乗鞍まではここから約 400km 程の道のりです．この写真は道中の名神高速道路多賀サービスエリアにて撮影したものです． 　残念ながら天気予報では，この週末の天気は下り坂とのことですが，なんとか天気が持ってほしいと願っていました．．．．

I'm waiting for the day! It was about an year ago when Mr. Natori, an Mi16 owner and one of the famous Peugeot ML members ever since, announced that he was planning a 405-only meeting.     It was around 10:00 AM when I leave Ohtsu, Shiga. The place Mt. Norikura is about 400km far away from Ohtsu. This photo was taken on the way to the meet at Taga SA, Meishin Highway.     Unfortunately, according to the weather forecast, it would be changing for the worse this weekend. I sincerely hoped that it would not be very bad...

今回の宿「山栄荘」に到着したのは午後 5時くらいでした．既に参加者の殆どは到着していたようでした．をを，405 がこんなにたくさん一カ所に集まっているのを見たのは始めて！ 　SRI, SRI-EX Break, Mi16, Mi16x4 といった 405 がずらずらと駐車場に並んでいるのはなかなか不思議な気分です． 　夕食の前に露天風呂に入りたかったのですが，到着が遅れたため，食事の後に入ることにして，とりあえず荷物を部屋に運びます．おぉ，聞いていた通り，ネットワークポートもあるなぁ．では早速 Linux をインストールしてある VAIO を繋いで....　残念，DHCP サーバとうまくお話し出来ないようで IP を取得出来ない (;_;) 仕方ないので Windows で繋いで遊んでみました (;_;) Windows 立ち上げるの数カ月ぶり．	My Pooh the 3rd and many friends at the parking lot of San-ei-sou, a small but nifty pension at Norikura.... "Mi16x4", a 4WD edition of Mi16. The rear suspension has hydro-pnuematic system (just like Citroen!) Rather hard to find in Japan, but there were four Mi16x4 at the meet.
I arrived at the pension"San-ei-sou" on 05:00 PM, and almost all participants were already there. Wow, I've never seen a dozen of Peugeot 405 in one place in Japan!     It gives me some kinds of strange feeings to see many SRI, SRI-EX Break, Mi16, Mi16x4 in the parking lot.     I would like to take an open-air bath (Norikura is also famous hot-spring spot), but it was too late to take it, so I decided to enjoy hot-spring bath after having a dinner. I took the baggage to my room ... Wow, as I heard before, the pension has network plug in every room! Well let's connect my VAIO notebook with Linux and ... but the DHCP server didn't provide any IP address to my Linux box... So I started (unfortunately) Windows and played surfing and telnet. It had been many months since I lastly used Windows...
One, two three, four, five .... as many as seventeen 405s in a place!
