I guess Performance kits for 405s are rather easy to find in Japan.
Several Pug specialized shops are there, and they deal a variety of
such 3rd-party parts, some of which they import from Europe,
others of their own creation.

405 Mi16x4, a four-wheel-drive version Mi16 (earlier edition),
has XU9J4 engine with hydro-pneumatique rear suspension.
Its horsepower is equal to conventional Mi16 XU9J4, 150HP
(by the way, Europian version of Mi16, without catalistic converter,
 is 160HP).

Mine is latter edition of Mi16, with XU10J4 engine.
Its horsepower is also 150HP (I haven't get it on dyno test yetthough),
but XU9J4 and XU10J4 is radically different each other:
their mechanism, engine "feel", etc. etc...
